I need to pick up that Thomas Jefferson's Desk book, too.

I just made a post that links to your blog. I hope you don't mind.
Let me know? =)

VickiVickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03113510205727830531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135821839792630912.post-63157320676147142012009-06-08T23:05:00.527-04:002009-06-08T23:05:00.527-04:00Thanks for linking to me! Prejudice, stereotypes and ignorance all bloom together, and a teacher who cares so much about respecting diversity completely lost the irony in his nasty and ill-informed pigeon-holing of HSers. That's what we get for reading teacher blogs though. :)

We have the full version of Timez Attack and really like it too, BTW. It's a great game.

Enjoy your down time!
AliciaMagic & Mayhemhttp://magicandmayhem.homeschooljournal.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135821839792630912.post-45117778302342280262009-06-07T12:30:50.313-04:002009-06-07T12:30:50.313-04:00Topsy - you're welcome :-)... and, while I hav...Topsy - you're welcome :-)... and, while I haven't driven myself quite to distraction, I came close a couple of times. When you find yourself talking out loud to the chickens for company, it is time for the kiddos to come home.

Rana - notwithstanding that I have spent some time talking to the chickens this week, I can't believe how fast this time has gone by!

Misty - you're welcome :-), thanks for stopping in!

Firefly Mom - thank you for summing up my feelings about this guy so perfectly. It reminds me of the time, when I was in college, that a girl on my floor said one day, "all Canadians are a**holes" without realizing that she was talking to a Canadian at the time!Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09033206940045546960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135821839792630912.post-27562920078623274522009-06-06T02:31:02.432-04:002009-06-06T02:31:02.432-04:00Aw, I feel the same way when my kid is gone.
I c...Aw, I feel the same way when my kid is gone.

I can't hardly bring myself to read anti-homeschool articles. They always seem to be written by people who've either never met a homeschooler, or met one once, and believes that every other one must be identical. Which would be like me saying I'm going to write about how much Germany sucks because I had sauerkraut once and hated it.Firefly Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09742562729182149224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135821839792630912.post-83208892516904076962009-06-05T21:59:28.137-04:002009-06-05T21:59:28.137-04:00Nice post and I love the napkin rings - my kids mi...Nice post and I love the napkin rings - my kids might actually use a napkin if they had a lion, tiger, or elephant to hold it. :-) Thanks for the nice comment and link back to me!
-- MistyMistyhttp://www.homeschoolbytes.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135821839792630912.post-51234148958901073432009-06-05T15:21:31.728-04:002009-06-05T15:21:31.728-04:00I can't wait to check these blogs out.
