Capitol I

Here is a little song that has been making our spring cleaning kinda fun:

If you're pushing forty, like me, you may remember that song from the Sesame Street of your youth. I loved it then, and as it turns out, I still do.

I don't know how they did it, but Luke and Owen have learned all the words to both Capitol I and the bonus Lowercase N track, after listening for about 3 minutes to each. So, we now have rousing choruses of these songs as we clean windows, sort laundry, dust and sweep.

It's nice - makes the cleaning feel like it's done faster, too!

I love it! Sesame Street writers are geniuses! It reminds me of the first time Peter heard the Beetles tune "Let it Be," he wondered why they wrote a song based on Sesame Street's "Letter B." :)

So cute! You don't have cause to watch it now, but I can tell you that it just isn't as good - still good though!

What Jena wrote is very funny!

I like to play music when we are cleaning. It really does help to lighten the burden of the chore.

Have a great weekend!

OK, I got stuck on the pushing 40 statement! That kinda freaked me out.

Ooops - did I write forty? I meant 'pushing twenty,' of course! (In my dreams..)
Actually, as weird as it is with the big 38 coming up soon, I would not trade in my age for anything. I have a good life, better today than in years past.
Deb my love, (I hope you are the right Deb!...) do you know that our friendship is in its 25th year? Did you ever think you would know anyone for 25 years? It is cool but freaky.
