Finding the Beauty - Day 7

We're deep into March now, usually the month I have the most trouble with, and I have to say that so far... knock on wood... there has been lots of beauty to find.

Recently, we went on a hike with some friends - that's where today's pics come from:

Thanks, Angela, for that first one!

Why do I love bleak, dry pictures like this? I don't know, I just do.

Here is the view, seen from between two rocks up at the summit. It is an amazing place, and takes my breath away every time I get the chance to climb to it.

I hope you are finding the beauty in March too! If you want to read a bit more about hiking, go to Shannon's post at our new community blog, The Relaxed Cafe.

Great photos! Finally some beautiful weather to be outside. It's been raining and cold here.

Great pix! It looks like it was a really fun day :) Like you, we've also been enjoying the fabulous spring weather. I hope it lasts!

I'm itching to go hiking now, but we have wet weather scheduled today. Maybe Thursday...

Peace and Laughter,

Rana - we got the most beautiful March week I can remember last week, 60s or 70s all week - and then back to 40s and pouring the last few days. It was sure nice while it lasted!

Lise - I love that word, 'promising.' If you'd like to become a contributor, send me an email to whywehsatyahoodotcom!

Firefly Mom - I hope it lasts for you too :-)

Cristina - Isn't hiking in the early spring grand? No bugs, fewer people, same great vistas!
